I've been trying all night to trim the vocals from an audio file without losing any of the music. Some research has turned up a few tricks - such as splitting the audio file into left and right tracks, then inverting one and converting them both to mono - but none of them have worked. I don't have a really good editor (Audacity is what I've been using), so I'm wondering if some of our more experienced members have some more firepower or some other ideas.

Here's the track.

Again, I'm basically an idiot at this, so it's entirely plausible that I've been going about this all wrong.

It's impossible to get it perfect, I'm afraid. I've tried all sorts. Sad
