Dudes, there's nothing I can do. I've checked the code and followed what it does several times. It treats everyone the same, so either:

a) You're sending it wrong cookie data, or
b) Your browser is incapable of handling cookies correctly.

For case b, what that means is that the forum is sending you cookies (necessary to be logged in and to see new posts), but your browser is ignoring them.

Heh, I noticed that and fixed it just before looking at this thread. Wink

Yeah, it's a known problem and one I'll take care of once the site's finished. The group colouring system is a bit stupid (I didn't program it) and actually removes the colour from people who are in a group that's been modified. B3ar removed himself from the Singularity group, which got rid of your colour.

Yeah, I get that too.

Dear GOD! The Polydectes page is ridiculously out of date. 3/4 of those people aren't in the faction and POW has managed to hit 50 now, so he shouldn't still be listed as in my crew Laughing

Bah. That is the most useless error message in the history of PHP. I changed it so it would tell me which query messed up the mysql_fetch_assoc() function, but for security reasons only admins can see the query. I'll have a look...

Don't think it's called an 'error', but:

When I have the forum up and my browser crashes,
all the unread messages are marked read when
I start her back up and come back to the forum.

Needless to say, that's annoying.

proc explained this somewhere else...

The forums stores your last login time, only posts that are made after your last login are shown as new, all others are shown as read.
or something like that was his answer.

but another question, why is your browser crashing that often? i mean if a software crashes pretty often, this is annoying Wink

Yeah, here's an explanation, d4sh:

http://tgs.greyfusion.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=121856

This isn't exactly as advanced as the DN1 forums (which are insanely complex, insanely resource intensive, but also very nice).

I think if I tried to install Lithium on this site, my host would kill me.

My browser doesn't crash often actually. But it did that one time.

Sometimes it just freezes up because I open 6 tabs at once (I use Safari) and it has to load... I get impatient and restart the browser. Razz Silly me.
